HIPINS had the pleasure of collaborating with a valued collector client to bring to life a unique, custom-designed pin-on-pin enamel pin set inspired by the legendary figure Mulan. This set features two distinct color variants showcasing Mulan in dynamic motion, combining traditional Chinese elements with modern pin artistry. From concept to completion, this project demonstrated the seamless coordination between creative design and precise manufacturing.
Design and Production Specifications
This project was developed as a limited edition dual-variant enamel pin set, officially named “Mulan.” The pin set features Variant A in green tones and Variant B in red, each produced in small batches of 30 and 40 units respectively. The pins use the pin-on-pin technique, which adds depth and layers by combining two die-cut zinc alloy pieces assembled into one finished pin.
