This project showcases a custom-designed hard enamel lapel pin featuring a dreamy, fantasy-inspired flower enclosed in a glass-dome silhouette. Crafted with precision and delicate artistry, the piece blends classical botanical elegance with modern craftsmanship. The client requested a collectible-quality hard enamel pin with detailed screen printing and luxurious gold metal plating — a request that led to one of our most enchanting designs to date.

Crafting Process
To meet the client’s needs, we recommended using the hard enamel + screen printing process. Hard enamel allows for a flat, smooth surface while offering durability and premium visual appeal. Additionally, silkscreen printing was used for the inner white sparkle details and highlight dots to bring the flower to life under the dome.
The production process included the following steps:
- Die Striking & Molding
The outline and internal metal areas were first die struck using a precision mold based on the client’s vector design. This allowed for clean separation between colors and fine visual detailing.
- Color Filling
Translucent and opaque enamel colors were hand-filled using Pantone-referenced shades including PMS 317, 127, and 637. The flower’s petals used a mix of standard and translucent enamel to simulate stained glass aesthetics.
- Gold Plating
A rich gold plating was applied to all raised metal sections, reinforcing the product’s high-end finish and giving the floral structure a radiant outline.
- Polishing & Finishing Touches
The pin was polished for a mirror-like smoothness, fitted with two rubber clutches, and backed with a custom backstamp. Each piece was packaged in a PVC bag with bubble protection.
- Silkscreen Printing
