How is Glitter Enamel added to a pin?
Reflective particles can be mixed into enamel, applied over a color, or added within a resin layer. The method depends on the design, and sparkle changes with light.
Can glitter be combined with other enamel colors?
Glitter can be used with hard or soft enamel and selected solid-color areas. Multiple glitter colors need enough space and clear separation; we review the layout first.
Does Glitter Enamel need a clear protective layer?
Our glitter treatments require clear resin to hold and cover the particles. The final surface profile depends on the enamel construction and is confirmed during design review.
How small can a glitter-filled area be?
Allow at least 3 × 3 mm for a glitter-filled area so it can accommodate the particles. Very small lettering or narrow details may need enlarging or solid enamel instead.
Can I choose the glitter particle size and density?
Regular and fine glitter are available, with full coverage as standard. A lighter scattering of around 20% coverage is also possible, but individual particle positions vary.
Can glitter colors match my Pantone references?
Choose glitter from our standard color samples; Pantone codes serve as references, not exact glitter matches. The base color and lighting also affect the finished appearance.
Will the finished glitter look exactly like the proof?
The proof shows glitter areas and color choices, not exact sparkle or particle positions. We check color and placement, but individual particles vary naturally between pins.
