Expose it to daylight, bright indoor light or UV light before viewing it in darkness. The glow material stores light and releases it gradually, without batteries.
Brightness and visible duration vary with pigment, charging conditions, glow area and surrounding darkness. The effect is brightest after charging and gradually fades.
All 14 displayed color pairings can be produced, and one pin can use several glow colors. Daylight and glow colors differ, so exact glow color cannot be guaranteed.
Allow at least 1 mm for glow line width. Small areas produce a weaker visible effect, so tiny lettering or crowded details may need enlargement or simplification.
Glow material is placed in recessed areas on hard or soft enamel pins. You can limit it to selected details and use standard enamel elsewhere.
An additional Epoxy Coating is not mandatory. Resin is used over the glow fill for the enamel finish; the application is confirmed for the chosen construction.
Adding glow colors increases cost and can extend production time. The number of glow colors and the approved layout are considered when quoting your design.
We inspect fill quality and daylight color, then charge the pin and check the glow in darkness. A digital proof shows placement, but cannot reproduce actual brightness.
